Our website is closing down after 2nd April 2021

Hello fellow Frugal Travellers!

Thank you so much for your support and lovely comments over the past three years… where on earth has that time gone?

You might have noticed that we haven’t written any new blog posts for almost a year. We always struggled with the technical aspect of maintaining our own website, and realised that we much prefer making the ease of making videos and uploading to YouTube… especially as there seems to be so much more interaction on that medium.

Those factors, in combination with the increased hosting fees have made it difficult to justify keeping our website.

So, if you want to keep up to date with our travels, please follow us on:

YouTube: Frugal Travellers

Instagram: Frugal Travellers

Facebook: Frugal Travellers – but we don’t really do much on this one

I am looking at manually transferring all of our blog post onto the Frugal Travellers Blogger account, and will let you know how that goes.

**UPDATE Our first post is up on Blogger so sign up for more posts at:

https://frugaltravellers.blogspot.com

Wishing you all the very best, wherever you may be… we’re in Portugal, in case you didn’t know!

Take care and talk soon,

Mandy and Lee, Frugal Travellers

  1. Oh this is indeed a sad news.Where will I look for the all detailed itinerary including the ticket counters and bus numbers even when I start traveling again?? You have no idea how you guys have helped me with my first solo trip. Hope you will bring up the blogger account soon so that all these valuable informations and amazing content are not lost. All the best and keep traveling 🙂

    1. Thank you, Seema! Your comments were so encouraging – you were one of the few readers with whom we connected and had good interaction. Your lovely feedback on our Azerbaijan posts really helped spur us on at a time when we were really struggling with our website, so thank you so much for that!
It would be great if you followed us on YouTube as we’re going to make sure we focus on giving detailed budget travel advice. For update information it’s best to follow our Instagram account, as that’s in real time. Thank you again for being so appreciative and positive! :)))
